Care Animal Regional Emergency Clinic of Spartanburg is a full-service animal emergency hospital taking care of both veterinary emergency cases as well as your pet’s urgent medical and surgical needs. Our veterinary emergency clinic serves Spartanburg, Greenville, the Upstate South Carolina and the Foothills of North Carolina.

Our veterinarians, Dr. Chappell, Hughston, and Dr Mornane, are licensed & experienced in all types of veterinary emergency conditions and pet medical treatments. Our on-site lab facilities include digital radiography and allow us to perform complete in-house diagnostics. We offer telemedicine sessions with Board Certified cardiologists and radiologists should your pet's medical condition warrant a specialist consultation. Beyond first rate pet care, we try to make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and as calm of an environment as possible so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting their own Spartanburg emergency veterinarian.

We are available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening and your pet needs to be seen before you are able to see your regular veterinarian. Dermatitis, lameness, urinary tract and ear infections, upper respiratory infections, vomiting, and diarrhea are conditions that we see regularly.

Emergency Veterinary Services

Our staff will evaluate your pet upon arrival to determine the urgency of your pet’s current medical condition. We'll then determine the priority of patients' treatments based on the severity of their condition, a process called "Triage." We kindly ask for patience during these stressful times.

Emergency Care

Our emergency clinic takes walk-in patients and referrals from other veterinary hospitals in the surrounding area for after hours medical emergencies. We are equipped to handle veterinary emergencies and urgent care for your pet.

Surgery

Should the need arise, your pet will be in good hands. Our clinic can support immediate surgical requirements, & our staff can perform emergency surgical procedures. In some cases, after your pet is stabilized, you may be referred to a specialist for follow-up.

Lab Services

Our in-house lab facilities feature digital radiography & comprehensive diagnostics. We can provide complete blood count, metabolic & coagulation profiles, and screen your pet for infectious diseases. Should the need arise, telemedicine services are available.

Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy may be necessary in the recovery process of your pet's medical condition. If your pet has chronic joint or back ailments or is sensitive to medications, we can give your pet the benefit of this cutting edge therapy.
